{White space is happy space}

 

In addition to storytelling, the Southern woman's guide to life underscores the importance of aesthetics. For my words to mean anything, they need a delightful presentation. That was the beginning of my graphic design career. I studied graphic design in my undergraduate education and began working in the industry while pursuing my master's degree. Since that time, design has become an integral part of my ability to write. For me, presentation and content are equally important -- my brain can't understand one without the other. My philosophies are: The wrapping has to match the present and white space is happy space.
